Darcon Constructions Pty Ltd is a Launceston based commercial and residential construction business formed in September of 2009. The company directors are David Rosevear and Alan Dickens. Between us, we have 57 years worth of experience, knowledge and expertise in commercial construction, residential construction and joinery.

Our company specialises in commercial, industrial and architectural construction throughout Northern Tasmania. We are an approved contractor with the Department of Treasury and Finance to a level of $1m, are DEEWR code compliant, are members of Master Builders Tasmania and hold an “Open” Builders Accreditation No.CC540U.

Experienced directors

Both directors have gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge throughout their working life through working on many and varied projects within Tasmania both large and small. Both David and Alan are qualified tradesman and both have owned and or managed their own businesses in the past.

David’s background allows him to bring project and construction management skills, tendering and estimating skills, OH&S management and quality control skills to the business whilst Alan’s background allows him to bring business management skills and expertise in commercial and residential joinery, shop and franchise fitouts.

Whilst we are a relatively new business, we strongly believe that we are more than capable, and have more than enough experience amongst our team and that of our preferred subcontractors and suppliers of taking on small to large commercial and residential construction projects in Launceston and throughout Northern Tasmania.
